The teams of University of Applied Sciences of Western Macedonia in Kastoria: IEEE SB Western Macedonia University of Applied Sciences, Kastoria, ESN TEI of Western Macedonia and AEGEE-Kastoria, in collaboration with the members of the Greek Society for Emergency Pre-hospital Care-EEEPP of Kastoria, held on Friday 27 May 2016 First Aid Seminar.
Initially, in the theoretical part of the seminar, the members of the Hellenic Society for Emergency Pre-hospital Care (EEGEP) of Kastoria spoke about various situations of need (drowning, accident, lulling, etc.) as well as the first aid that one has to give to each of them. After completing the theoretical part, the practical part was followed, where participants were given the opportunity to try cardiopulmonary rejuvenation in a special practice doll, so if they are in need they have the necessary knowledge to save lives that are in danger.
The members of the Hellenic Society for Emergency Pre-hospital Care-EEEPF of Kastoria, who offered their valuable knowledge both to the students and to all the participants were:
