IEEEXtreme

The IEEEXtreme is a global 24 –hour time programming contest. The people of IEEE who want to participate must solve a set of programming problems within 24 hours.

Those who want to join must be a member of the IEEE and be in a group of 2-3 people. Also, an institution may have more than one group if these teams are supervised by either a professor or a senior IEEE member.

All problems can be answered by these programming languages: C, C++, C#, Python, Java, PHP, Perl, Objective-C,  Haskell, Clojure, Scala, Common Lisp (SBCL), Lua, Erlang, Javascript, Go, Groovy, OCaml, F#, VB.NET, LOLCODE, Smalltalk, Tcl, R, RACKET, ΤRUST, SWIFT, PASCAL, BASH, D .

Τhe contest was created to offer an interesting experience to IEEE members. Also, gives IEEE members a challenge to have team spirit and gives them an important skill to develop for career success. Finally, it increases the number of IEEE Student activities with a focus on the computers, programming, and information technology fields.

The registration will be open until Friday 6 October 2017.
