On Thursday 12/12/13 within the course \”Graduate seminar\” there will be a presentation of CODEBENDER on \”Programming Arduino through the browser\”

CODEBENDER according to an OSArena article:

“Codebender.cc is an innovative online open source platform created by five students, with the ultimate goal of bringing the general public into contact with technology and computers and enabling those unfamiliar with electronics and programming to understand basic concepts in a very short time creating their own projects.

It focuses around the Arduino platform, and allows its users to program it without the need to install complex software through the comfort of their browser. By freeing Arduino users from the tedious and often troublesome installation of the right software / libraries, codebender allows them to focus purely on programming.

Although currently still in closed-Beta, the acceptance of the platform in the first 2 days was amazing, with 6000 visitors to codebender.cc!

One of its innovations is that it allows the Arduino to be programmed through the browser, while also allowing the remote programming of an Arduino Ethernet over a network. All you need to do is create a free account on the site and you are ready to plan! In fact, thanks to its cloud architecture, the user can access his projects from any computer with an Internet connection, wherever he is!

The project page is: codebender.cc, where one can pre-register for an account.

Finally, because codebender wants to remain free and open to all, the team needs $ 5,000 to cover its operating costs for the first year. ”
