Linux Team of Kastoria is active in the University of Applied Sciences of Western Macedonia in Kastoria since 2011, consisting mainly of students and graduates of the Department of Computer Engineering. (former Informatics and Computer Technology) in order to familiarize, learn and disseminate Free Software to students and the local community as well as new technologies such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi. In addition to the space we have been given, there is the possibility of familiarizing with Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE, Linux Mint, Kali Linux, Arch Linux, Ubuntu Server, openSUSE server where interested parties can deal with either distribution tests or the use of services of our server (Joomla, WordPress, Drupal, Owncloud). Soon, in consultation with the TEI, we are also expecting to build another project, such as a Cluster 10 system.
Finally, the team is open to proposals for new projects and ideas to exchange knowledge and ideas on Information Technology and Technology.
