On Saturday, October 14, 2017, the IEEE Worldwide 24-hour programming contest \”IEEEXtreme 11.0\” was held. The IEEE Student Branch of the Informatics Department of the University of Applied Sciences of Western Macedonia in Kastoria was represented by the qwerty123 team with participants Stelmach Orestis and Korakas Athanasios.
Based on the results published our team was 38th in Greek participations and in the international rankings was in place 1359th out of 3350 entries.
We kindly thank our Counselor Mr. Michalas Angelos for his support for another year, as well as the professors of the department Mr. Sia Georgiou, Mrs. Karamanou Areti and Mr. Bato Panagiotis who oversaw the process with their presence.
Also, we warmly thank the catering club of the Western Macedonia Technological Educational Institute, Authentic Catering, Pizza Forma and the tavern \”Ousies\” for the meals and coffee breaks that were given to us.
