Call for Production Citizen Journalism Educational Material


The Organization of Open Technologies (EELLAK), in the context of its actions for the implementation of training programs related to open technologies and the production of freely available digital content is looking for partners for the production of open educational material. All educational material will be licensed under CC-BY-SA. The educational material should be modeled on the moodle platform and specifically at elearn.ellak.gr The educational material to be produced should be shaped to meet the needs of students and learners trainers for both physical attendance and course attendance in the next year without the physical presence of trainers (asynchronous tele-education).

The educational material concerns the lesson: \”Become a Citizen Journalist with Your Mobile Device\” with your Mobile \”. The educational material will be 24 teaching hours in English and Greek for young people aged 18-28. The material will follow the course templates in Moodle (see the relevant instructions here & here).

In addition to the production of educational material for learners, the corresponding teacher should also be produced material for trainers so that they can teach the lesson.

Interested parties are invited to send:

  1. Α detailed description of the content of the course that they propose to develop (indicating the content they will is covered in each individual lesson (learning objectives and knowledge) and what the material (eg text, images, videos, exercises (including the writing of articles at https://en.wikinews.org/, etc.), evaluation, sources, etc) taking into account that each lesson will last 3 teaching hours, twice a week for one month, a total of 24 hours, first the educational material will be produced in English and then in Greek).
  2. Timetable for the development of educational material,
  3. total cost and cost per education hour;
  4. Detailed resume, the Europass standard is preferred.
