The TEI of Western Macedonia, through the Operational Program \”Education and Lifelong Learning 2007 – 2013\”, implements the project \”Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit of the TEI of Western Macedonia\”. The object of the \”Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit\” is the development of entrepreneurial mentality and innovative consciousness of students with the main goal of creating new opportunities and connecting the educational community with the real economy. The individual objectives of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit include:
a) the utilization of research results and the promotion of innovative ideas, through the process of developing new products or services.
b) the development of a business culture and the creation of an innovative climate through the introduction of entrepreneurship and innovation courses; and
c) the creation of a virtual business incubator through which students will become familiar with the problems of creating and operating a business.
Therefore the three main objectives of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit focus on the possibility of creating and developing economic business activity, through the combination of creativity, risk-taking and the introduction of innovations along with good management, within a new or existing organization.
The 2nd Competition \”Innovative Student Ideas\” is organized for the second time by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit of the TEI of Western Macedonia and is addressed to all undergraduate and postgraduate students of the TEI of Western Macedonia.
Participation in the 2nd competition is important, because each student or group of students who will qualify, will have the opportunity to receive:
