Smart Lab is an effort that started in 2022 by students Thanos Mourtzoukos, Pericles Siaravas and George Stivaktakis under the guidance of graduate student Christos Hytiris. Specifically, they created a model as a simulation of the Laboratory by applying their ideas to implementations with Arduino Uno and Mega and the use of sensors for measuring Temperature, Humidity, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, Methane, Brightness measurement as well as a desibelometer. In addition, there was an access and security management system and finally a lighting management system.
