Report: how it went
IEEE Day 2026 at the Kastoria Campus was a success. Thank you to everyone who joined us in Room B11 and celebrated with us — students, members and friends of the Student Branch. It was a day about technology, innovation and, above all, meeting people.
During the event our teams presented the work of the 2025–2026 academic year:
- IEEE and our Student Branch — what IEEE is, what membership offers and how to get involved.
- IEEE Computational Intelligence Society — the activities of our CIS Student Branch Chapter.
- IEEEXtreme — the 24-hour global programming competition and our teams’ participation.
- Class-Reservation — the project of our Web Development Team.
- Nana — IoT Smart Plant — the smart flower pot that waters itself.
The event closed with an open discussion. Anyone who would like to join one of our teams can contact us at any time.
See you at the next event — we keep building the future, together.
