FOSSCOMM 2012 Serres

FOSSCOMM (Free and Open Source Software Communities Meeting) is an annual conference on Free and Open Source Software. It is organized by the Greek Free and Open Source software community in a different city each year. The purpose of the conference is to promote the idea of Free and Open Source Software and to strengthen the relationships of its community.

The conference is held over the weekend and includes presentations and workshops by distinguished members of well-known Greek communities.

Past FOSSCOMM have been performed in order:

2008 – Athens

2009 – Larissa

2010 – Thessaloniki

2011 – Patras

FOSSCOMM 2012 is organized by the Serres Linux User Group (SerLUG) and the TEI of SERRES on 5-6 May 2012.

It is addressed to all those who are interested in Free Software / Open Source Software, regardless of their level of knowledge in the use of software and computers.

Participation in FOSSCOMM is free and all expenses are covered by donations and sponsorships. The event is organized exclusively by volunteers.
