For yet another year, the IEEE Student Branch of the Department of Informatics of the University of Western Macedonia in Kastoria, is celebrating the formation of the global technological organization IEEE and organizing the IEEE Day.
IEEE Day is a celebration dedicated to engineers and all the members, from around the world, of IEEE. The theme of the day is “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow” and this year is the tenth anniversary of this historical event.
The event will take place on Wednesday 9th of October 2019, 14.00 pm, at the Informatics\’ Research Laboratory, at the Laboratory Building. The goal of the day is the opening of the Research Laboratory, where the group has been housed since its formation. As part of the event, there will be a presentation about IEEE, the Students Branch\’s activities and the Projects that were completed the past year, as well as for the ones that are planned for this year. During the event we will communicate with Kozani\’s IEEE Student Branch. Finally, the day will come to an end with an Internet of Things Workshop.
